2009 – Present The book that was a couple of years in development, and is available to purchase from our website (or if you're lucky enough to live in Wales you can get it as a free download from the Welsh Government) has now spawned a set of training days for those people working with the under 11s all the way down to toddlers. People coming on these participation training courses have learned techniques for giving children a say in the issues which are important to them. It's all done through playful activity that allows information to come out in a way that can be seen and heard clearly by everyone. The days have been received really well by participants who have told us how important it is to enable even the youngest children to have a chance to participate in decision making. |
