Training

Our training is delivered in the spirit of the five cultures we aim to promote (i.e. participative, inclusive, co-operative, enterprising and playful) and uses methods that allow people to learn in an enjoyable way. Although we do deliver some off-the-shelf courses we usually design training to fit a groups needs and thus every training is bespoke and unique.

Training Examples

Your Voice Your Choice

Client: Welsh Assembly Government

Training: 2000 young people across the whole of Wales aged between 11 - 25.

have receieved a 1 day training course on a participation theme of their choice from: Consultation, Recruitment, Audit, Policy Development, Procurement and Young People Friendly Information.

 

Play Work Training (p3)

Client: Play Wales

Training: Delivery of a number of Awards, Certificates and Diplomas to Play workers as part of the Play Wales pilot phase of their new level 2 course.

 

Play Work Training (In2Play)

Client: City and County of Swansea; Rhondda Cynon Taff  CC; Flint CC; Barnardo’s

Training: Level 2 Induction Standards endorsed course designed to meet the needs of play workers on play schemes and complying with the legal requirement to be introduced in 2008. Dynamix has been regularly play-training for over 15 years.

We have worked with groups varying in size from 25 – 225.

 

Participation, Spice It Up

Client: A number of agencies including: Participation Cymru WCVA; Cotswolds PCT; North Tyneside Children’s Fund; Swansea Youth Forum; Save the Children; Avon and Gloucester Health Authority

Training: A course devised to teach consultation and involvement techniques for young people and adults based on the Dynamix book Participation, Spice it up.

 

Equality and Diversity

Client:  Welsh Development Agency

Training: 1 day awareness for employees and 2 day awareness and implementation course for managers. Around 20 courses were delivered across the breadth of Wales with approximately 15 participants in each
