Dynamix recently took a team jaunt down to the Eden Project in Cornwall. The idea was to inspire ourselves and see what we could learn from their project. We met a dozen people from the organisation which now has over 600 workers and gave them a taste of our training in the morning. The afternoon was theirs and we spent a couple of hours in the biomes (with puppets of course) being inspired and thinking about possible future collaborations. Many exciting ideas came out of the visit, including a revisit next year and possible exchange visits in the mean time.

One of the follow up emails from Eden enthused, "it was great to meet and spend time together the other day. Its always a great feeling to come across co-conspirators - or is it an extended family you never knew you had? Here's to the adventures to come!"

Participation, Your Voice Your Choice - Free training for young people

Do the young people you work with:

• understand their rights?
• know what they can gain from participation?
• help with the running of your/their organisation?
• have the practical skills to get started?
• need to build their confidence and self-esteem?

  To help young people get involved, there's free training available from the Welsh Assembly Government – it will be lots of fun, and we will adapt it to suit your group’s needs.

  It’s for all young people in Wales between the ages of 11 and 19, particularly those who haven't been on this kind of training before and who do not normally get involved. Youth clubs, schools, scouts and guides, young offenders, young people at risk of exclusion, traveller communities and young people with disabilities might all want the chance to take part.

  Dynamix and Continyou are working together to deliver this project. Dynamix has 20 years of experience in Wales, working inclusively with all young people. Continyou Cymru is committed to opening up learning opportunities that are accessible to everyone, and to developing cohesive communities.

We have around 450 ft2 of office space available for rent at very competitive rates (£8 a square foot a year e.g. £300 a month). In addition we have a training space for hire and shared kitchen facilities. We're located close to Swansea town centre (railway station about 10 minutes walk) and there is free parking outside.
