Phill and Barney recently attended a weekend training where they built their own Coracle from scratch. Whilst this doesn't appear at first glance to be a Dynamix related skill, they both came back enthused and excited about the learning process they undergone and the boats they had made speak for themselves. "Never stop playing!"

Recruitment training for Young People across Wales

 As a 'call off' contract with the Welsh Assembly Governement Dynamix is delivering training to 10 young people groups across Wales preparing them for sitting on recruitment panels, employing people who will work on their behalf. They've been getting their heads around job descriptions, person specifications and sifting, through a serious of fun and engaging methods.

Dynamix is 20 years old on its official birthday the 15th August this year (when we were incorporated). We are going to celebrate in a variety of ways with Random Acts of Whimsy and fun so keep an eye out for us. Rather than have one big event we are going to have many small ones, so if you'd like to get involved in some small way - please let us know.

2009 is the twentieth anniversary of the Swansea based organisation, business , co-operative, enterprise .. Dynamix. The workers who are involved in helping to make society fairer and more fun have a series of parties and events planned which will spring surprises all over the U.K.

Dynamix recently took a team jaunt down to the Eden Project in Cornwall. The idea was to inspire ourselves and see what we could learn from their project. We met a dozen people from the organisation which now has over 600 workers and gave them a taste of our training in the morning. The afternoon was theirs and we spent a couple of hours in the biomes (with puppets of course) being inspired and thinking about possible future collaborations. Many exciting ideas came out of the visit, including a revisit next year and possible exchange visits in the mean time.

One of the follow up emails from Eden enthused, "it was great to meet and spend time together the other day. Its always a great feeling to come across co-conspirators - or is it an extended family you never knew you had? Here's to the adventures to come!"
