Maesycwmmer Outdoor Learning 

Hooray, our British summer is here, get out the oil skins and batten down the hatches! Since January of this year various lucky Dynamix workers have been braving the elements in Coed Gwernau, Maesycwmmer.  We were employed by the local community council to work with local primary schools and youth groups to support them in exploring the community woodland. Through the clear blue, frost crisp days of February to April; seeing the bluebells flower and the trees come into leaf we played in the woods with all the pupils from maesycwmmer Primary school, a class from Trinity Fields school and a group of young people from the local youth club. Sessions were based around the log circle and a fire pit where we cooked marshmallows and popcorn and led sorties off into the woods to explore, build dens, play games and search for the disappearing puppets! This was a wonderful piece of 'work' so big thanks to GIll Thomas and all in Maesycwmmer Community Council for bringing us in. See gallery for more pictures.
